History

The Essex branch started life in the 70’s when Essex motorcyclists were meeting up at the Norton Pub in the village of Cold Norton in Essex. Obviously because of the name of the pub and village, Norton riders were attracted to attend, as well as all the other great bikes around at the time.

In October/November of 1977 the official Essex branch of the Norton Owners Club was formed.
